An EduSocial Network for the Engaged Parent and Dedicated Educator
Parental engagement in their child’s education from an early age has a significant effect on educational achievement, and continues to do so into adolescence and adulthood.
Parents of children with SEN or disabled children are more likely to be involved in their child’s education but as the Lamb Inquiry showed they are also likely to experience high levels of dissatisfaction. Ten percent of complaints to the Local Government Ombudsman are about SEN.
